I have made myself proud....

I drove all the way to south San Jose (about 21 miles from my place) all on 101 :). People who know me, know that I avoid 101 because its just too crazy on my nerves. But today, after a lot of doubts and staring at the route at maps.google.com, I just did it.

The 26 minute drive took me 50 minutes, but only because once I got off of 101, I was lost. I think the map had a mistake. Because I stared at it so long, I do not think I could have gone wrong. But well..finally after making a couple of wrong turns, I reached my destination. On the way back, once I reached Santa Clara, although I could have gotten off at Lawrence, I actually drove all the way to home on 101, immensely proud and thrilled and in 26 minutes...shut up (too much 'what not to wear' :))

Things I learnt..
Always stay in the lane next to the right most lane, that way, no surprise exit-only lanes and stick to the car in front, even if they are driving 5 below speed limit :) That way you dont get honked at for driving slow....
