My fondest new year was when I was in class 12. Shamala, a friend and I took our Luna's to our friend's grandfather's house in Aundh. (or was it pashan or baner?) This house had a nice garden at the back with a deck where you could play music like a dance floor. There was a huge dog who just refused to move, even when there was a stranger next to him.

We did not dance, I dont remember what we ate, what I remember was that Shamala got the cassette of Roja, heard the songs for the first time. We played the songs over and over again pretty late in the night, chatting and pouring our hearts out!!!

Can't believe that was almost 12 years ago...
