Is saying no that difficult?

I have always been the kind of person who speaks her mind. Sometimes a bit too loud and clear. Also, I believe that you should have the right to decide what you do with your time. If that means that you have some prior plans, then you tell that very clearly. I do not like the pressure of getting into something when I would rather be doing something else. So, I dont tell close people, that I will come if I do not really intend to. I tell them I can't. Esp. if its your parents. I mean, you got to be able to tell your own parents.

Yet, some people just can't say no. And that leads to a lot of complication.

I won't mind if someone says they wont come. I am a bit ticked off when someone says that they will come and dont show up. Not the 100 guest party where one person does not matter. Its the 2-3 friends reunion where one person decides to not show up and not call.

If you mean it, say yes..or no..not to hard eh?
