Random thoughts.
It takes one kid in your arm to go from didi to aunty! I have crossed over to the dark side. Someone I met recently called me aunty, and I was like "who where???" Come to think of it, this girl is 15, and I am almost twice her age. So its ok, in hindsight. But at that moment, it hit me like a ton of bricks!!
Have you ever noticed that when its one of those lucky draw thingys, you never get picked and when its one of those, pick someone to go to the gallows, its always you. Hmm. Odds, we have a love hate relationship with each other.
Can you really be friends with someone forever?? I mean forever and ever.. ? A friend's sis told us once, when we were planning to rent a place in Fort Collins, "if you want to remain as good friends, don't live together" interesting huh?
Are Puneris (or punekars) really that stuck up? These are the very words used by a mumbaikar about the people from Pune. There is pride, love and all the good things we feel about Pune. But why would punekars be called stuckup ? ( amchi kuthehi shakha nahi) :D

Hey aunty!! nice points... i got the "kaka" treatment in India this time.
I've won one cake in all those lucky drawings all my life.. i correctly guessed the weight of that thing upon looking at it (figures)
have you also noticed that beyond your college u can almost never have ture best friends, you meet people who have grown up with nothing similar to you and its difficult to get along with such folk.
And yes Punekars are stuck up, i drive a car with "PUNEKAR" as my number plate :-) i remember ur hubby doing something similar

I do miss you a lot!!! I miss our FC times as well..You were my pillar of strength and am really glad that we are friends..Thank god! We didnt go for first impressions!! :)
